Publication Ethics: Many Facets, Collaboration Required
Sir, the recent publication on “Publication Ethics” is very interesting (1). The article by Fazly Bazzaz and Sadeghi demonstrated many interesting cases of misconducts. Indeed, the misconducts can be seen in many ways. As mentioned in the present publication, both author and editor can perform publication misconducts. Nevertheless, the problem has many more facets. Sometimes,...
متن کاملpassivity in waiting for godot and endgame: a psychoanalytic reading
this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
Calculation of processes involving many particles at the kinematical threshold.
A diagrammatic technique is derived for calculating processes involving the production of large numbers of particles. As an example, the amplitude of three particles scattering into n particles at the kinematical threshold in λφ 4 theory is calculated. From the 3 → n amplitude, it is seen that the one-loop amplitude for 2 → n processes is suppressed by a factor of 1/n.
متن کاملInfinitely Many Solutions for a Steklov Problem Involving the p(x)-Laplacian Operator
By using variational methods and critical point theory for smooth functionals defined on a reflexive Banach space, we establish the existence of infinitely many weak solutions for a Steklov problem involving the p(x)-Laplacian depending on two parameters. We also give some corollaries and applicable examples to illustrate the obtained result../files/site1/files/42/4Abstract.pdf
متن کاملModuli space of many BPS monopoles for arbitrary gauge groups.
We study the moduli space for an arbitrary number of BPS monopoles in a gauge theory with an arbitrary gauge group that is maximally broken to U(1). From the low energy dynamics of well-separated dyons we infer the asymptotic form of the metric for the moduli space. For a pair of distinct fundamental monopoles, the space thus obtained is R3 × (R1 ×M0)/Z where M0 is the Euclidean Taub-NUT manifo...
